I'd like to introduce you all to the future Mr. & Mrs. Bottensek! They were an absolute joy to photograph and down for anything! Ana wanted lots of greenery in her photos and I think we accomplished that. Their outfits, the weather, and the location was perfect for their engagement session in downtown Houston. I cannot wait to photograph their wedding at the Heights Villa in March!
I loved hearing about how Chris proposed at the Kemah boardwalk, how the two of them both enjoy being out by the water, and how they both like going to breweries! One of my favorite things about the couples I photograph is that I feel like we could hang out anytime and have a blast. I think that's how photographer/client relationships should be! Chris and Christine were so much fun to photograph and I cannot wait for their wedding in January at Broussard Farm!
On April 29th, it poured that morning and finally let up that afternoon. I was still a little nervous about the weather, but luckily it stopped just in time for Kellie and Derek's wedding! I was told that if it rains on your wedding day then that means good luck. I think they've got plenty of luck! ;) One thing that's for sure is their crew did not let that stop them from having a good time!
Kellie and Derek were married at Rock' N Dollar Ranch and had one of the most beautiful ceremonies I've seen. The way Derek looked at his bride when she walked down the aisle.. that's what all little girls dream of for their big day. There wasn't a dry eye! I also love how they incorporated shooting shotguns together before they sealed their marriage with a kiss. They both love the outdoors, guns, and I'm pretty sure anything country (lol!). It was perfect for them and unique!
Here are some of my favorites from their day. Thank y'all for having me and I wish you nothing but the best! Congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs.! XOXO

A big thanks to my photography assistant, Lawrence!
I'm happy to introduce y'all to Abby and Dillard! They actually met for the first time in 4th grade, had a class together their sophomore year, and the rest is history! Abby has been waiting for Dillard to pop the question for quite some time now and he totally surprised her for her 22nd birthday. Spoiler alert: she said "YES!" ;) I love how they are head over heels for each other and how excited they are for their wedding!
I asked Abby what she loves about her groom-to-be and she said, "He's hardworking, has the kindest soul, loves God, he is always making me laugh, and can handle my diva-ness!" What's not to love about that?! ;) These two are the sweetest and so easy to talk to and laugh with! The weather for their session was amazing (thank the Lord!). We included their adorable pups and Dillard had to have a photo with his other baby (the truck!). Haha! :)
I cannot wait to capture their wedding in November! XOXO
Shannon and Nathan have been married for one year! I remember their wedding like yesterday! We had a ton of fun dancing that entire day (to Backstreets Boys and Spice Girls of course!) and celebrating their marriage! A year ago they were living in Lubbock and now they are in Dallas and I think it's safe to say that a lot of us are thrilled!
The weekend of their session the weather was a little bit crazy. The night before, the sirens kept going off. Well this Southeast Texas girl has never heard sirens before (we have hurricanes.. not tornadoes) so I was a little freaked out! Nothing major happened, luckily. During their session it would be cloudy and then the sun would pop out and right back to cloudy. We made it work and had fun! Lucy, Grant's new BFF, was even included in the shoot! She's so cuddly!
Happy one year anniversary, Shannon and Nathan! Wishing you many more happy years! Proud to call y'all my cousin-in-laws! XOXO
