Hurricane Harvey | God Bless Texas

I don't know really where to begin with this post. Since Friday August 25th, I have felt every emotion you can imagine... I've gone from worried to stressed, sad to thankful, and guilt to inspired. You name it, I've felt it as I'm sure my other fellow Texans have. There's no other way to put it than just heartbroken.

Hurricane Harvey has truly been a beautiful disaster. I feel so fortunate that my house, our storage, and my parents/aunt/uncle's home did not flood. However, that is not the case for some of our friends and their families. Not only did it impact Houston and the surrounding areas, but it also hit my hometown leaving many people having to be rescued. I have been through several hurricanes and Harvey by far takes the cake.

I have been inspired by my neighbors, hometown friends, heck... America for rallying together and supporting one another. I'd love to play a small part in that and help out in any way I can! I've gathered a list of a few businesses who are in Texas giving to those in need! Maybe you're like me and are hours away but still want to help out? Check out the list below and see where you can donate and lend a helping hand to your Southeast Texans!

Here's How You Can Help

There are so many businesses in the U.S. who have been so gracious to raise awareness of the devastation and donate money. If you liked JJ Watt before... you're going to love him now. I've listed below a few companies who are donating their time and money to different charities to help rebuild Texas! If you feel moved and want to do something proactive, take a look below. On behalf of SETX, we appreciate it.

I want to say a huge THANK YOU to our first responders, volunteers, neighbors helping neighbors, people who have donated, other states, and the list goes on. I don't think thank you will ever be enough! God bless Texas.
